Put in request for assignment number so as to trade with II. No response after 3 days so called resort. Spoke to Mike who said he'd take care of it and I'd get a number that evening. Nothing happened.
Called again a few days later and all I was told was computers were down. After submitting 4 different requests via the website, with no response..I again called today 2/9/2011 and Mike now informs me that there is no inventory for a 2/2 lock-off to exchange? I paid 25k back in 2005 for this timeshare and now they're telling me the only thing they can offer me is a studio and one bedrm or two studio's to trade?
WTF? I was told I was going to have to wait till there was 2/2 unit inventory to trade? Furthermore, they couldn't even give me an estimated date when this would be available! This was NOT in my c! ontract when I bought from PDSG.
I have paid the maintenance dues, my unit was paid in full in 05 and now I can't trade because of Inventory? I realize Mike just works for the company but this is just unacceptable! I have never had this problem with exchanging till Bel Air took over.

IN FACT I BELIEVE WE CANT DO ANYTHING ANY COMMENTS WE ARE OWNERS SINCE 2002 AND HARDLY EVER USED IT BECAUSE OF NOTHING AVAILABLE
The victims are being asked to pay upfront fees for any number of reasons and then hear nothing more from the scammers - no sales, no refunds. Others are duped into parting with upfront cash - often hundreds or even thousands of dollars - only to find that the supposed buyer has dropped out of the deal. They are then lured to a foreign country to meet a "corporate buyer" who is interested in buying their week.
If you receive an unsolicited call and you have doubts, just contact your Home resort and remember... NEVER PAY UPFRONT FEES!!! That is all they care about.
Cheers
LPM- be careful of scams..if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is! I actually asked Michael if he'd buy my timeshare back and he more or less chuckled and said NO. LOL
On another note..I got a newsletter from BA...according to it, one can get free weeks at any of BA hotels...not a bad thing if you have the time to travel.
