On June 2011 I was contacted by Accent Event Management claiming interest in buying my timeshare property in Mexico. On June 21st I received a proposal letter from Victor Leon, where it states that they have a client looking to acquire 21% of the property in order to attain controlling interest in the property. This is a definate scam. File a complaint with the AG's office in Oklahoma and Nashville. Also file a ic3 complaint with the FBI, notify your bank of the fraud so they can request funds returned. There is NO intermediate bank of JP Morgan Case, the funds are going directly to the Mexican Bank. I am in agreement with Robert Miranda that this is probably a scam. I am contemplating legal action immediately. I was also contacted by Kelly Jacobs from Legacy and by John Abbott from Accent. We were also scammed by Victor Leon of Accent Event Management and Kelly Jacobs of Legacy Closing Services. You need to contact the Tennessee and Oklahama Attorney General Offices and the FBI. I was contacted by ACM by a man named Ales. he reported to me that he had a buyer of my time share that i own in Mexico. the deal took a while and his manager took over "Victor" who said he wanted to help things move along. they want you to sign a contract saying that you will need to pay a US title company (legacy Closing Service) the taxes and closing fees. We had the same offer on our time share and paid the closing fees and Mexican sales tax of $9250. It is time to finalize closing and receive or money, we are calling and calling with no answer and no return calls. Legacy Closing Services of Nashville is involved in a very cleverly designed fraud in conjunction with an affiliate, Accent Event Mgmt of Oklahoma City. On the ruse to act as an intermediary in the purchase of my Puerto Vallarta timeshare, John Neiderhauser, and Christine Reynolds (undoubtedly assumed names) convinced me that they had a buyer seeking to acquire controlling interests in the resort who had deposited purchase money with an escrow company in Nashville, TN, Legacy Closing Services. We were contacted by Christine Reynolds of AEM Oklahoma City, stating they had a buyer for our timeshare Playa del Sol Sur in Pto Vallarta. We were then contacted by Kelly Jacobs of Legacy Closing stating that they had the funds in Escrow to cover the purchase price, transfer fees and taxes that were to be paid to the Mexican Govt. |
