Vacation Ownership Solutions - Bogus timeshare sale

I have a contract with V-O-S (Vacation Ownership Solutions) to sell my timeshare. They have written me 78 emails (Copies of the Emails are available from me) about there supposed attempts to sell my property. It has been a year and they do not contact me anymore with updates. Emails and phone calls are not returned. There is only a recording when you call. They have a one page ad on the internet that never changes. I am afraid this company is a scam.

I have a contract with them that states they will sell the property in 90 days or less.

Vacation Ownership Solutions sent me an Email on February 4th, 2009 they had an offer for the sale of my Grand Mayan Timeshare. I responded to them that I would accept the offer the very same day. Since that date they have never contacted me as to the state of the Timeshare offer.

On the February 4th, 2009 Mr. Tom Peters (Agent-Vacation Ownership Solutions, Beaverton, OR) said that Wednesdays would be our contact day. He had always communicated with me throughout the past year. But now the company does not respond. I have sent them 30 or 40 emails and called 15-20 times or so.... But no reply.

I am a Senior Citizen (68 yrs-Born 1940). I need that contract from February 4, 2009 to be acknowledged and completed.

Resolution: I want the $49000 they agreed to on the January 2008 contract. They claimed they had it sold but now I get no replies from them. Our timeshare agent in Nuevo Vallarta (Named Abraham Garner) did in fact set us up to have our Grand Mayan Timeshare sold. This agent would only let us sell our timeshare through Vacation Ownership Solutions if we bought a Studio Unit at Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.

His promise was 90 days for $49000. He set us up with Tom Peters of Vacation Ownership Solutions: “This agreement is made January 14th, 2008, between Vacation Ownership Solutions, Inc., a Corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Nevada, with its office located at 14525 SW Millikan, Beaverton, OREGON 97005-2343, USA (“Agent”), and Jeffrey and Renee Fraser at 1116 Brae Burn LN. Rockford, IL 61107, USA (“Principle”).”

Mr. Gardner and Mr. Peters both reduced my price by $6000 (Known as a “Good Faith Deposit”). This phantom $$$ deposit plus the promise to advertise and sell my Grand Mayan property within 90 days was indeed a bogus arrangement.

I want a Statement telling where the $6000 went and our promised sale and money ($49,000) completed.

Is there something wrong with posting your timeshare here?

Same thing happened to us. I agree that the sales people at the timeshare in Mexico are in on this. My husband and I purchased a timeshare in P.V. while on our honeymoon. We were given Tom Peters card to help us rent it out and make some money off of it. We signed an agreement with him, had several calls from him, accepted an offer and never heard from him again. When I would try to call I just got the generic message. If anyone has any information on them or is seeking legal action my husband and I are interested in following.
We are also really wanting to rent out or sell our timeshare, so if anyone knows of a legitimate company please share.
Thanks!
