This refers to the increase in value of real property. Timeshare weeks in this country seldom appreciate because Vacation Clubs and condominiums with seasonally-changing values are difficult to appraise; furthermore, even a noticeable increase or decrease in the property value, when distributed among 50 or more owners per unit, often equates to a negligible difference per owner. Therefore, timeshare appreciation seldom occurs.
