We have been members of Villa del Palmar in Cabo San Lucas for 15 years now.
We've up-graded a few times. Their in-house program is fist class. Many of the same people have been there for years as well. They've always been up-front and respectful. No scams going on.
Not anymore......

We just got back from there and went on the presentation. And NOT for the free gifts as they do not offer any...
Some hip, slick and cool guy came to the table with the sales person we were dealing with and proceeded to feed us one line of bull after the other.
It's unfortunate as the sales people with the in-house has always been up-front. We walked out.
This is just a warning to other owners. I can appreciate that there's a sucker born every minute but to take advantage of your "in-house suckers" is uncalled for.
We ran into one of the sales people on the street a few days later who we've known for years and he too was discouraged and contemplating quitting as he is not comfortable with the new program and sales manager. He said; "lying to his members: which is now considered okay there is not sitting well with him.

I just got back from Cancun where at the presentation I was treated rudely and then fucked out of 50 dollars that I paid for return transportation to the airport which never showed. If you fuck people for 50 bucks, it says alot about how crooked you are.

Dear Member, thank you for making your views available for us to view and respond.

First, the Villa Group has made the personel in Cabo aware of the incidents that you mention and are doing further research into these events to better improve the ongoing system. Second, as an organization, we do our best to see that our member's have the most up to date information regarding updated programs the Villa Group offers and we provide other alternatives to help educate our members on our product through Membership 101, held on-site throughout the week, cocktail parties hosted by the Club and the Annual Membership meeting held every year in October.

In addition, the Villa Group has hired a new addition to the Member's Sales Team in Cabo who joins us from a renown organization, which offered a points based system. The purpose of this was to provide our member's the most up to date information on how to best utilize a points based system, which the Villa Group has most recently introduced with our Villa Preferred Access Program.

If you have further issues you would like to discuss and feel the need to contact a Developer Representative, you may call 619-683-2338 to discuss any issue related to the Villa Group organization.

We had the same bad experience at Cabo. We have owned since the first building went up. We were have upgraded a number of times with no problems. This last presentation was down right fraud. We agreed on a contract but that is not what happened. We can no get anyone to return our calls, emails or mail. DO NOT go to a "members update"--it is a sales presentation filled wiht lies.
