At RGBC Monterio-Baga Goa, my first time-share membership stay has not been good ever since check-in on Oct3rd 2010. The room was untidy with a 5 mm of dust. TV and the room phone was not working for more than24hours after check in.
Lift to the 2nd floor works abruptly. The RM (Mr Sameer) fixed a meeting with Sanjeev Vaid"(SE Asia Ops), but he seemed to be too busy handling prospect customer rather than taking a feedback on the hotel Service. The whole team is focused on stage management for trapping customers. The operation head Mr. Bruce who has been recently appointed was not available either.
The delivery of service for which a member has paid one time membership and annual maintenance charge the service is really pathethic. If 41 out of 63 rooms are available and remaining are under reno! vation then whats the point in providing sub-standard accomodation in this RGBC property. There is only one resturant available and even Wi-fi in the lobby and only resturant was not working. My kids say its the last time they want to visit this property and had fond memories of Neelam the Grand where we stayed last year as a preferable option. This RGBC has not been a very good investment for me. And I have another week at Haathi Mahal from 9th to the 16th Oct 2010. And I can offer it anyone who can pay me the 13K Mtnce. Charge paid to RGBC.
This hotel falls far below the wrong expectation set by the agressive marketing folks. And its time RGBC focuses on building the level of Service rather than trapping new customers.
