We are Westgate Resort Members who bought into a time share in the Smokey Mountains. We are NOT satisfied Customers.
I hope to warn you that if you go to Gatlinburg TN -stay away from the Street Vendors trying to give you free shows in exchange for a Meeting about time shares.. Run .. Run away quickly.

I'm trying to build a community that had been scooped into this scam. When facebook group has 5,000 people. I will set up a date to protest in Washington. This kind of business practice is hurting other families, new owners, our kids future, and friends. Westgate may have forclose on my account, but I will fight for others.

My husband and I had too fallen into this scam. I have dedicated my life to build a community to help others and myself. My goal is to get as many people as I can to protest at the white house and in FL.
It could be a year from now, but it's a start. This kind of business should be stop. Many families are hurting.

We are hardworking people whose integrity has been compromised by Westgate Resort high pressure sales tactics and fraudulent sales' practices. We feel that we were held hostage, raped, and left to sort through this by ourselves. We were strongly lied to and mislead and contract or not, when you are verbally hoaxed into buying something, THAT IS A VERBAL CONTRACT THAT WE PUT OUR GOOD FAITH IN...... AND IT IS FRAUD!

This kind of business needs to be stop. Westgate can not pay me to stop posting or passing out business cards. I'm fighting for the cause not the money. They can't pay me off.

I too bought a timeshare (in New Hampshire)that I couldn't use when I wanted to. Owned it for 10 years - never used it, tried to trade with Interval International, that was a joke. Gave up and just paid the fees every year. Then a couple years ago, on my way to complete my Doctorate Residency, I met a gentleman at the airport. As I got to know him, he revealed to me the REAL TRUTH about buying and owning a Timeshare. I SADLY realized that A LOT OF THE THINGS THAT THEY TOLD ME WHEN I BOUGHT THE TIMESHARE WAS MISLEADING and DOWNRIGHT UNTRUE! Luckily he was part of a consumer organization that help Timeshare Owners get out from under their Timeshare. Today, I NO LONGER HAVE THE TIMESHARE and even better, I MARRIED THE GUY...If you need help, there is help. If you want to know more, you can send me an email. Best of Luck!
