Ongoing "escrow" 8+ months

I was contacted by TBO Properties because they had seen my ad with another company & had someone "currently in their offices" that was interested in buying my timeshare at the Avalon Resorts in Cancun. I paid the 1500.00 fee 10/06/10 and was told that the clients money was "put into an escrow account" and I would get their down payment if they didnt close the contract. It is now 06/01/11 - (8 months later) and they still keep yanking my chain saying that the customers purchase funding is still pending and every time I call, they tell me that it will be completed in another 14-21 days. There is no end.
