International Scam

We received a call from Time Out Vacations saying we had won a free holiday. Unfortunately we gave them a credit card number but then decided that we did not want to go when they changed the destination. They took $1200 anyway and sent us a voucher.

We returned it and they had acknowledged that they had received it. They assured us that all was in order and the money would be refunded. This was in December 2010. Since then we have made monthly telephone calls and been told that the refund was on mthe list for repayment during the follwoing month. The telephone number is now out of service. What next?

The only conclusoon that you can come to is that Time Out Vacations is (was) a fraudeulent operation run by crooks.
