Vacation Properties Services - Ripped Off

I received a call from Jessica Sawyer at Vacation Properties Services telling me they had a seller for my time share.

I sent $700.00 and immediately felt nervous about it. I called back and said I had changed my mind and I did not want it processed. Of course, none will answer their phone or tell me exactly what needs to go in the certified letter so I can get my refund. Due to "security reasons", they would not even confirm the address I did have to send the letter. I have sent a letter, but I can no longer speak to anyone....No return phone calls, no info, no nothing. When Jessica called me back (before she knew I had sent a letter), she said I did not need to send a letter, because I was within the 24 hour grace period.

My husband has tried calling....I just don't know what to do. I think legally, I should be able to do something within the 7 days/ I just do not know what to do...or who to report it to.

I would notify BBB(Better business) I would also contact my bank and tell them the situation. They can return your money and fight them for you. Like if you have a credit card dispute type of situation. Unfortunately you probably wouldn't want to take it to small claims because it will cost you more money and all you will get is a judgment(a piece of paper that really means nothing). Please go and yes Go to the bank you wrote the check through and find out your options!! I am sorry to hear what happened, just goes to show what this world is becoming. Lots of luck and hope you will get your money back!!

Also file a complaint with the state Attorney General's office, they usually won't do anything until they have a large collection of complaints, but eventually they will go after them and can get your money back.

Looking on the internet Vacation Properties Services lists Frank Perry as President, he is also President of Vacation Property Sellers and his website is www.sellmytimeshare.com you can find this on the BBB in Florida.
