Shell Vacations - Consumer Fraud –

Shell Vacations is selling Timeshares in many different locations but once you have made the purchase and receive all your documents you discover that what you really purchase is a right-to-use membership in the Shell Vacations Club. This cost me $15,000. My wife and I bought into this then discovered we can't just use our points when we want but when they allow for us to use them. We have found it's cheaper to get rooms where we are going and at a better value then what they have to offer, without the 30-60 days out time frame.

Shell Vacations is making millions of dollars on $%#?/& members like us that want to pay $700 per night on the same room that cost $200 if you just walk in!!

Who do you think is paying for their expensive salaries of $250,000 that most upper Management makes, or like I read on the Internet a $25,000 a month lease for a call center office in downtown Chicago!!! You don’t think that money is being donated by nice people with money Hell NO!!! ALL TIME SHARE OWNERS ARE PAYING FOR IT, SO WHY KEEP BUYING POINTS FROM THIS COMPANY??

Shell Vacations Club is a Scam. We bought into this to get a nice vacation every year. Except there isn’t enough points to go every year. We pay $3400 in payments plus $700 in “maintenance fees” ($4100/yr)and had to bank 2 yrs worth of points ($8200) to go on a 4 day vacation to San Diego. For the same amount, you can also get a 3day cruise to Ensenada, Mexico. This same cruise if you pay in cash is approx $500, not $8000. They tell you that you can sell it like real estate. You cant even give it away. The resale is like less than 10% of what you paid for it. That’s worse than some old mobile home. We went on a dinner cruise in San Diego with our points and when we got there to board, they had never heard of us. I wound up paying again just to have a nice dinner cruise while we were on vacation.
Maintenance fees on a right-to-use timeshare? I don’t know what you are maintaining!
Avoid this timeshare scam, it will only leave you broke and broken-hearted!!!!
