SANIBEL ISLAND FLORIDA > a cabin, 1975 - 1980 > our timeshares, 1981 - 2010.

Saturday morning we traveled 282 miles South > down I-95 to Fort Pierce > by Lake Okechobee > by the Indian Reservation > to Sanibel Island on the Gulf of Mexico > Our Sanibel Beach Club.

Back to Sanibel Island > the Light House > the Shells if you hunt very carefull > the Bike paths > and the Bailey General Store.

Be sure to ask for a free blue Bailey Tide Times Chart with the complete Shell Guide on the back side. Also if available a calendar Post Card for you to take home. - - SANIBEL IS "THE SUNRISE FROM THE BEACH AT 6:35" - - Every morning we had the pool deck mostly to ourself's till about 9:00.

Our best friend is George from Maryland > 93 years old > a WWII Army vetran > and 13 great grand children. We spent all of the week > Swimming > Cooking at the grill > Walking the sandy beach > Biking the bike paths > Visiting the library > Looking for more shells.

Almost forgot the 8 MONKEYS or (Macaque) in the center of the Pariwinkle RV Park. Two complete Shell Collections are on display at the Public library. Late Friday our daughter Ann and Michael visited us.

This week its 11.9 miles to Marina Village for us and 10.4 miles more to Bonita Resort for Ann and Michael.

Wonders of Timesharing - Daytona Races
Racing Teams at the Daytona Beach Speedway were lucky and more teams qualified at the last moment. Our Daytona Resort and Club is accomodating a few extra team members. So we are now having our July 3rd week at the Catalina Beach Club a block away on the Great
Atlantic Ocean. So far we have found the locker rooms, the exercise room, the dry Sauna rooms, the Internet Cafe, and a great view of Atlantic Ocean.

Two great weeks at Marina Village at Snug Harbor. Walking to the Beach and the Beach Pier. Taking the Pontoon Boat around the Backbay and the three hour adventure South to New Pass Beach. That is the Lovers Key Adventure for Boats.

Here we are again at our Vacation Village at Parkway Building 6 Unit.
Outside in early morning the nature boadwalk adventure thru the presearve. If we are Lucky a Turtle or a Snake is About. Then comes the Sunrise thru the Trees. Soon it will be time for a swim. Yes the days are getting into the 80's again. Everyone is having a great time in the Heated Pools. For Lunch we grilled a Steak on the Outdoor Grill. As darkness comes we listen to the New People arriving for a Week. What a way to finish our 303th year and our 126th wek at a Great Resort. At 9 we hear the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom. What is your happy Adventue???
